This pattern is tied on a wide gap, barbless, short shank hook. As a deep water attractor fished on a full sink line this fly will drive the fish crazy. The large foam barbell eyes which give the fly its name allow it to float just off the bottom. With a fast retrieve, the fly with its bright colors draws the fish's attention triggering strikes.
