The Rootbeer ASB chironomid is tied on a curved nymph hook with a brown under body, ASB over body, double brown rib and black tungsten bead head. The fly represents the pupa state of the chironomid (midge) which are available to fish year round. The ASB body is effective in replicating the trapped air in the emerging pupa. It is a very effective pattern. Fish them under an indicator on a floating line or deep on a full sink line.
